The best thing about being a photographer in Orange County are the numerous beautiful outdoor
locations for portrait sessions.
The beaches of course provide a wonderful backdrop for family photography. They are also a great
place for a photojournalistic style
photography session.
Most of all, they are a great place to allow kids to relax and do their thing, allowing
the photographer to capture some special moments.
Some great beaches to get portraits: Corona Del Mar, Laguna Beach, Montage, Aliso Creek, Salt Creek.
Some great parks to get portraits: Laguna Niguel Regional Park, Irvine Park
Outdoor portraits however are best done near sunrise and sunset to avoid harsh shadows
and other issues. I don't recommend outdoor
beach portraits for very small babies. However, parks are great for babies and children.
